Research projects

MEH has an ongoing research into Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD). Presently the treatment of AMD entails huge cost. MEH is at the forefront of a new breakthrough technology that will ultimately bring down costs by 60% with added visual benefits.

We are committed to our goals on glaucoma. At present we are considering alternative glaucoma filtering surgeries that do not require invasive surgery.

MEH has an active program on diabetic retinopathy that evaluates the best suited therapy for Indian conditions.
